Angelica was raised in Rochester, NY and graduated from Gates Chili High School in 2005. She joined the STAR, Inc program in her junior year in high school, 2004 was the Vice President from 2004-2005. While in the program, Angelica attributes the program to aiding in her development of life skills, sisterhood and some of the best life-long friendships she has made. She made her debut into society on April 23, 2005 and received the Miss Community Service Award at the Cotillion.

She continues to give back to the STAR program in the hopes that “young women today will recognize the importance of their development, giving back to the community, and being socially well-rounded, educated and successful” as she has been thus far.

Education
Angelica attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCA&TSU) in the fall of 2005 and received her Bachelor of Science Accounting degree in May 2009. While in college, Angelica was affiliated with the NAACP, NABA collegiate chapters, ALOBEAM Accounting Society, and worked in various capacities in their NCATSU’s Admission’s Office. Angelica received her Masters in Business Administration and concentration in Human Resource Development in December 2012.

Career and Affiliations
Angelica continues to assist others in the Rochester area by being affiliated with various community organization including her church, Heavenly Temple, and as the local recruiter for her alma mater, NCA&TSU, Rochester Alumni Association Chapter. She has also had the privilege to graduate from the African American Leadership Development Program (AALDP) where she has expounded upon her leadership and developmental skills as well as her community involvement. Angelica is currently an accountant for the Bureau of Architecture and Engineering in the Department of Environmental Services for the City of Rochester.
