Diane E. Bowens

FOUNDER & FINANCE MANAGER

As a past participant of the Rochester Debutante Club she desired to see more positive female role models involved in the community. Due to the humbling beginnings imparted in her at an early age by her parents, Diane realizes her ability to connect with young ladies to help empower them to uncover their purpose through guidance, inspiration and motivation. She serves as a devoted, resourceful and team-oriented individual dedicated to producing timely and cost-effective results.

EDUCATION

A native of Rochester, New York, In 1999, Diane attended the AT&T School of Business and Technology. Diane received her Bachelor of Science in Professional Technical Communication in 1991 from Rochester Institute of Technology. In 1987 she received her Associates degree in Business Administration from Monroe Community College.


CAREER AND AFFILIATIONS

Diane is currently employed at Windstream Communications as a Metro Network Cost Savings Analyst in the Northeast Access Planning group. She has numerous years of Business Management experience, including Accounts Receivable/Account Payable, Auditor, Cost Specialist, Project Management, and Sales Management. In 2002, Diane graduated from the United Way of Greater Rochester African American Leadership Development Program.

In 1996, she received a Public Speaking certificate from Dale Carnegie. In 1992, she received a Tax Preparation I certificate. Diane is a member of Mt. Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church and serves as Chorus Director and Women’s Committee Chairperson. Diane was affiliated with the Rochester Debutante Club and made her debut in 1983.
